(If you don’t know the backstory, The Poddy Report is my daily podcast that’s 5-minutes or less where I talk about whatever is on my mind – as it relates to podcasting, of course.)

Podcast Movement 2021!
This year’s Podcast Movement is going to be in Nashville, TN from August 3rd – 6th. Here’s some info straight from the event organizers:
Every summer since 2014, Podcast Movement has gathered thousands of passionate podcasters and industry professionals from around the world under one roof to learn, grow professionally, and most importantly evolve and improve the podcast community.
In 2020, the landscape changed for everyone, and the event was held virtually. However we’re excited to be planning on returning to a “new normal” in 2021, including getting back together in-person again… and WE WANT YOU TO BE THERE!
If you’re not able to join us in person, or your plans change prior to the event, we’ll be live-streaming a select number of stages for attendees to stream. And all PLUS and PRO PASS holders will receive on-demand recordings of all sessions post-event!

On Tuesday, August 3rd, I’ll be taking the stage with 3 of my podcast pals that I’ve had the honor of meeting and getting to know through the world of podcasting. You’ve likely already heard from them before as they’ve all been guests here on the podcast.
We’ll be speaking to brand new podcasters and helping them lay the foundation for their shows. I’ve taken on the responsibility of talking about podcast goals, topics, format, and title. A lot to cover in a short amount of time, but I’m excited to take on the challenge.
