How to Use Podcast Dynamic Content
Refresh, How to Use Podcast Dynamic Content
How to use podcast dynamic content is one of my favorite things to talk about! Since it was released by Buzzsprout in January 2021, I’ve used it every week. And I’ve learned just how powerful this simple tool can be for a podcast host.
So, the obvious question for anyone that’s not familiar with it…
What is dynamic content?
These are the short audio clips you hear at the beginning or the end of an episode that can be easily switched out. In other words, the content can be changed easily to flow with the rest of your episodes. (Dynamic: of a process or system) characterized by constant change, activity, or progress.)
With the “Dynamic Content” tool that’s available within Buzzsprout, you can apply your dynamic content to ALL of your previous podcast episodes with a click of a button! (To learn more about Buzzsprout and snag your 90-day FREE trail, click here.)
Here are some podcast episodes and YouTube videos I’ve created or collaborated on to help you better understand how to use podcast dynamic content:

How to Use Podcast Dynamic Content – When You’re NOT Launching
Yes, my go-to thought to use dynamic content for your podcast is when you’re promoting something or trying to get your audience to take action on a product/service you’re offering. But you can also use this tool to help you do a lot of “un-paid” things as well. Things like:
- Grow your email list
- Get more subscribers on YouTube
- Pump up your Instagram following
- Have people join your Facebook group
- Encourage your audience to donate to a charity you’re rallying for
The possibilities are endless!
But what really matters is that you’re offering value through your dynamic content. Don’t just throw something out there to say, “I have my dynamic content up!” Think about the strategy behind it.
What to Say…
I get asked, “What do I actually say in my dynamic content?” So, I thought I’d give you a few quick examples of dynamic content I’ve used when I’m NOT launching: (These are general ideas and not 100% verbatim what I’ve said in audio clips.)
- “Are you looking to connect with other podcasters who are figuring out this journey too? Join us in our FREE Facebook community! Here’s the URL to join…””
- “Want to see actual tutorials of the podcast tips and strategies I share here on the podcast? Join us on YouTube to see the action. You can fine me at…”
Don’t overthink this!
Just think of the best way to add a call-to-action for your audience and then run with it. You’ve got this!
