WHAT’S THIS EPISODE ABOUT?
Let’s Talk About Podcast Networks and How They Work
In my conversation with Meredith, we talked about a lot of the backend logistics that go into podcasting as well as what it’s like to pivot from one platform to another. We get the behind the scenes look into what it was like for OSSA to change from a mostly blogging organization to now focusing on podcasting.
We talk specifically about how podcast networks work and how OSSA can help new podcasters really get connected to a community of other people trying to grow their show.
What’s the Biggest Change You’ve Seen in the Last 12 Months
Many people starting new podcasts that want to have an influence and have a platform to share their message.

Also, user-friendly analytics tracking have gotten better over the last year. It used to not be as easy to collect information on data for shows. It’s useful for advertisers to be able to see how well a podcast is performing as well as podcast networks to be able to gauge how well their podcasters are doing.
We also talked about how there are more advertising dollars going into podcasting than ever before!
“You deserve to make money on your podcast…Your Voice Has Value”
– Meredith Reed (OSSA)
