Social Media, Websites, and More for Your Podcast Coaching Call with  Monique Simmons

Today’s episode is our next call in our coaching series!

For a refresher, we’re covering all of the questions participants in our coaching call series were asked when they decided to join me for our chat.

The questions I asked candidates as they were signing up for our coaching call were:

What type of content are you creating?

  • Podcast
  • YouTube
  • Blog

What do you want coaching on during our session?

  • Audience Clarification
  • Content Creation & Editorial Calendars
  • Show Format (Length, Flow, & Show Outline)
  • Recording & Editing Strategies (Workflows)
  • Better Solo Content (Pre-Planning, CTAs, Sounding More Confident)
  • Better Interviews (Scheduling & Integrating Calendly, Process, & Recording)
  • Descriptions & Show Notes
  • Ways to Better Market Your Content
  • Ways to Monetize Your Content
  • Website & SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

What is your top goal for your content in 2022?

What is your number one concern with your content right now?

WHY are you creating content? What is your content’s purpose?

And it’s from the answers to these questions I framed our conversation that you’re hearing today.

Social Media, Websites, and More for Your Podcast

Social media and websites for a podcast are hot topics around here.

Whenever I hear podcast marketing questions I get giddy. (I try to contain my excitement and not be the weirdo, but these questions make me so happy.)

Today’s coaching call with Monique opened the conversation for exploring marketing techniques any podcast, no matter your stage, can try.

I’m not as big on social media is a lot of people. So I would love some new ideas and ways to kind of change it up or switch it up. Because I am not a one way type of doing thing person, I am open to new things that work and I don’t mind, you know, diving out and try things. And the other one is the website and SEO because as you mentioned earlier, we do the live streams with you every week, and you always talk about it. And I know that it makes a big difference. So I kind of want to make sure that I’m on the right track with or maybe if I need to adjust some things.

 – Monique Simmons, DEMO with Mo Podcast

Listen to the full conversation to hear the exact marketing strategies I offered to Monique. The questions she had are common for podcasters and hearing her perspective on what’s she’s tried may help you. Plus, it’s always great to hear other people’s journeys.
