How to Market Your Knowledge Through Content, Coaching Call with  Aurora Aaraas

Today’s episode is our next call in our coaching series!

For a refresher, we’re covering all of the questions participants in our coaching call series were asked when they decided to join me for our chat.

The questions I asked candidates as they were signing up for our coaching call were:

What type of content are you creating?

  • Podcast
  • YouTube
  • Blog

What do you want coaching on during our session?

  • Audience Clarification
  • Content Creation & Editorial Calendars
  • Show Format (Length, Flow, & Show Outline)
  • Recording & Editing Strategies (Workflows)
  • Better Solo Content (Pre-Planning, CTAs, Sounding More Confident)
  • Better Interviews (Scheduling & Integrating Calendly, Process, & Recording)
  • Descriptions & Show Notes
  • Ways to Better Market Your Content
  • Ways to Monetize Your Content
  • Website & SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

What is your top goal for your content in 2022?

What is your number one concern with your content right now?

WHY are you creating content? What is your content’s purpose?

And it’s from the answers to these questions I framed our conversation that you’re hearing today.

How to Market Your Knowledge Through Content

Marketing is usually THE topic most creators want to know about.

Whether it’s how to get better at marketing, how to grow a specific audience, or how to connect with your listeners and viewers, people want to know how marketing can work for them.

Today’s coaching call with Aurora opened the conversation to talk about many creators struggles when it comes to marketing your knowledge.

I don’t think I feel uncomfortable talking about it, but it’s quite new for me. So I’m struggling to find the words. And I have an academic background. So I’m maybe used to being very thorough, in a way. So I kind of struggled to communicate, like, in an easy, you know, like a simple way to just get my message across. Okay, yeah. And to communicate the like to shift the focus, you know, from what it is that I’m doing and why I’m doing it to the value for the listeners.
