Too Many Ideas: “Where do I start?”, Coaching Call with Kay’aleya Hunnybee

Today’s episode is our next call in our coaching series!

For a refresher, we’re covering all of the questions participants in our coaching call series were asked when they decided to join me for our chat.

The questions I asked candidates as they were signing up for our coaching call were:

What type of content are you creating?

  • Podcast
  • YouTube
  • Blog

What do you want coaching on during our session?

  • Audience Clarification
  • Content Creation & Editorial Calendars
  • Show Format (Length, Flow, & Show Outline)
  • Recording & Editing Strategies (Workflows)
  • Better Solo Content (Pre-Planning, CTAs, Sounding More Confident)
  • Better Interviews (Scheduling & Integrating Calendly, Process, & Recording)
  • Descriptions & Show Notes
  • Ways to Better Market Your Content
  • Ways to Monetize Your Content
  • Website & SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

What is your top goal for your content in 2022?

What is your number one concern with your content right now?

WHY are you creating content? What is your content’s purpose?

And it’s from the answers to these questions I framed our conversation that you’re hearing today.

Too Many Ideas: “Where do I start?” & Let’s Talk Show Notes

I often hear content creators share that they have no shortage of things to talk about. Some even say, “I have way too many ideas!”

Today’s coaching call, Kay’aleya brings up a few points about choosing content ideas that most creators go through at some point.

I think part of it also is that I know so much I have so much to share. I have so much to share! And it’s so hard for me when I’m sharing, like if I’m like on the podcast, and then I go off on a tangent, and I mean, I can edit those parts out, but then it takes time to edit those parts out. So it’s like, wow, I just, I’m like a waterfall. So I’m trying to figure out how to like, hey, myself, well, this is great.

 – Kay’aleya Hunnybee, The Herbal Womb Wisdom Podcast

Listen to the full conversation to hear the exact strategies I’m offering Kay’aleya for helping her to stay focused on creating content consistently. We also had a delightful conversation about show notes that I know you’ll love!

And if you want help with time management or focusing on working more consistently, I highly recommend checking out the book, The One Thing. It was a game-changer for me!
