Hi, I'm Krystal.
Welcome to The Proffitt Podcast - where we teach you how to create  content with confidence.

Y’all, I’m not going to lie this is not the best production of how to create a webinar for free, but it is real and it is me.

Yes, I messed up a few times in the video.
Yes, I messed up a few times in the last video.
Yes, I know I’m not perfect.
Yes, I could rehearse this until the cows come home or when I’m nominated for the next Oscars where I get to meet Bradley Cooper…

But that ain’t me.

I like to show you what I do in my journey and that means showing you the messy parts too. And I know that you don’t want everything clean and polished and fabulous looking. You’re looking for someone who is or has been in the same boat as you and is trying to figure things out as we go along.

So if you haven’t already, go check out the first of this video series How to Create a Live Webinar for FREE (Part 1 Video HERE. I suggest you check out that video first because it has all of the information on how to set up the logistics behind this video.

In the first video, we went over how to create a landing page for people to sign up for your webinar through your email service provider, how to create a live event through YouTube/Google Hangouts, how to link your website and your email service providers landing page together, and a few other things.

In this video, I go through the rest of the stuff that you need to know to create a webinar for free. Like I said above, it ain’t always pretty…but you will walk away from this video knowing a little more about creating webinars and why they are a great opportunity to create deeper connections with your audience.

Here is the free chat box that I mentioned in the video: Chattango.com

I mentioned in the video that I wanted to add some screenshots of what it looks like to have the screen share buttons within the YouTube live and that’s what this is. there’s also the live button to show you when you are actually live and not when you are just staring at yourself awkwardly on a camera…which is what I’m doing half the time before I go LIVE!

How to Create a Live Webinar for FREE (Part 2 Video)

I didn’t touch on this in the video, because I know not everyone is selling something that wants to do a webinar, but if you’re looking to sell a product through a webinar you need to add a “buy button” to bottom of the webinar page.

That means you need to have a button where people can click and immediately be taken to either a checkout page to pay you or to the sales page where they can learn more about your product and sign up immediately.  This is very important because when people are excited to buy they don’t want to get the run-around on where they need to go or what the next step is.

I know when I get excited about something and I’m ready to throw my money at someone, I want to be able to purchase it right away. I want to be taken directly to the place where I’m going to enter in my credit card information, put in the three-digit code for my card (that I always forget),  and then immediately be able to check out what I just purchased.

So make sure that you include a buy button like this so that people can go to where they can purchase your product right away.

If you like this video or the previous one, I’d love it if you’d share it on Facebook or leave a comment below and tell me what your favorite part was. You can also listen to Episode 34 of The Rookie Life Podcast where I talk about this in audio format and go into more detail on how you can use webinars for your business.

Thanks for watching and as always remember,
Keep It Up, Rookie. We All Have to Start Somewhere!
